The role of Warehouse Associate and CDL Delivery Driver based in New Berlin, Wisconsin, is a full-time position requiring a valid Class B CDL license and the ability to operate box trucks or straight trucks. This position starts early each morning at 6:00 am, Monday through Friday, with local deliveries that allow drivers to return home each night. Hourly pay ranges from $26.00 to $31.00, reflecting the responsibility and skills required to safely and efficiently perform warehouse and delivery duties.

As a Warehouse Associate CDL Delivery Driver, you will be a vital link between Viking Electric's warehouse operations and its customers. Each day, you will conduct thorough vehicle inspections, carefully load products such as wires, pipes, conduits, and boxes onto your truck, and ensure timely and courteous delivery to customers. Your role involves not only driving but also assisting customers by unloading materials, maintaining accurate order fulfillment, and operating various warehouse equipment. You will uphold all safety regulations, maintain a clean work environment, and represent Viking Electric with professionalism and respect. This role demands physical stamina, attention to detail, basic math and communication skills, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.

  • One year of related experience or training

Job Duties

  • Conduct vehicle inspections at the start and end of your route
  • Transport and deliver products to customers with care
  • Unload items such as wire, pipe, conduit, and boxes during deliveries
  • Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations
  • Maintain a friendly and courteous demeanor with customers
  • Fill orders and issue materials and supplies per requests
  • Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, cherry pickers, walking riders, reach trucks, EZGo carts, hand trucks or dollies
  • Pack and ship customer orders accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment
  • Perform other warehouse duties as assigned
