This position is a full-time employment opportunity focused on supporting warehouse operations through the safe and timely transport of materials. The role involves driving delivery vehicles on designated routes, ensuring all materials loaded match the Ship Ticket and Delivery Manifest, and securing materials properly for transport. In addition to transportation duties, the role requires involvement in warehouse functions including receiving, storing, handling, shipping, and preparing products for customer delivery. This is a hands-on position requiring thorough vehicle inspections daily to maintain safety and operational readiness.
The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service by delivering orders promptly and courteously, unloading materials for customers while verifying shipment accuracy. Working in this role demands the ability to work independently, pay close attention to detail, and to operate in various weather conditions. Frequent physical activities such as walking, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, and lifting are part of the daily routine, with lifting demands up to 75 pounds on occasion. Safety is paramount, so the individual must adhere to proper safety procedures and regulations, maintain awareness in a safety-sensitive position, and be physically qualified to drive in compliance with medical and Department of Transportation standards.

Job Requirements
- Frequent driving required
- Visits to customers expose individual to all types of weather conditions
- Awareness of customer environment and adherence to safety regulations

- Ability to pass Department of Transportation physical exam
- Valid Driver's License with clean driving record

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Valid Driver's License in state of residence with 3 years driving history
- Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record with no type A violation or no more than one type B violation in past 3 years
- Ability to read, comprehend, write, perform calculations, input accurately, reason and analyze
- Ability to function independently and complete various tasks accurately with attention to detail
- Physically qualified to drive a motor vehicle in accordance with medical qualification standards
- Ability to work in all weather conditions and adhere to safety regulations
Job Duties
- Support warehouse operations by transporting materials over designated routes
- Ensure safe operation of vehicles
- Provide excellent customer service by making prompt and courteous deliveries of orders
- Ensure that material loaded on the truck is as listed on the Ship Ticket and Delivery Manifest and is secured for safe transport
- Unload materials for customers at each delivery location in an orderly fashion while verifying that material is correct
- Perform daily detailed inspection of vehicle to ensure general maintenance and safety
- Responsible for all aspects of warehouse functions including receiving, storing, handling, shipping and preparing products for delivery while maintaining a safe and orderly warehouse
