Job Requirements
- At least 18 years of age or older
- ability to lift, push, pull up to 50lbs
- ability to stand, stoop, and/or carry for prolonged periods
- comfortable working in warm environments
- effective communication in English
- willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1-3 years of shipping or warehouse experience preferred
- ability to operate pallet jacks and forklifts
- basic troubleshooting skills for packing equipment
- strong attention to detail
- ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- effective communication skills in English
Job Duties
- Accurately load and unload trailers
- verify route loads and trailer reports
- maintain the shipping yard
- count and check products for accuracy and quality
- maintain accurate records
- report overages and shortages
- participate in cycle counts
- operate material handling equipment including pallet jack and forklift
- troubleshoot packing equipment such as label machines, tapers, and palletizers
