Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • capable of basic data entry and familiarity with handheld computer devices
  • ability to perform simple math (add, subtract, multiply, and divide)
  • ability to function within a team environment with changing priorities and workflows
  • comply with SEKO work policies and procedures
  • reliable and demonstrate a good work ethic
  • must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently

Job Duties

  • Move materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas
  • receive, store and distribute materials, equipment, and products within assigned area
  • may sweep floors, clean dock area, general cleaning of entire work area
  • assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves or move orders to packing station or shipping department
  • open bales, crates and other containers
  • may operate manual hand tools, including handheld scanners
  • sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code
  • participate in the development of a safe and healthy workplace by complying with safety instructions and cooperating with management
  • perform other duties as assigned by management
