The Wardrobe Supervisor role is integral to the organization, responsible for the daily management and oversight of the Wardrobe department. Job Requirements

  • Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent
  • At least two years of related work experience
  • Ability to work flexible shifts
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
  • Ability to use standard office equipment
  • Comfortable with physical demands including lifting up to 25 pounds with assistance
  • Must have specific vision abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
  • Must be able to operate a personal computer
  • Ability to follow detailed oral and written instructions

  • Ability to maintain organization and meet deadlines

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of two years experience in inventory, warehouse, logistics, receiving or related work
  • Uniform/wardrobe department experience preferred
  • Associate degree in business or related field preferred
  • One year supervisory experience preferred
  • Ability to work well with others in a team environment and independently with little supervision
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
  • Ability to maintain organization and meet deadlines
  • Possesses integrity, confidentiality, and discretion
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
  • Bar code scanning experience
  • Ability to carry out detailed instructions and solve problems involving concrete variables
  • General knowledge of garment sizing, fitting, and sewing machine operation

Job Duties

  • Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with policies and laws including training team members

  • Ensure accurate data input and processing of inventory transactions related to uniform issue, returns, repair, replacements, laundry, and alterations

  • Assist management in gathering statistical data and providing reports and analysis
  • Inform management of pending departmental issues related to job and operational shift
  • Participate in cycle counts, monthly and year-end physical inventories
  • Maintain a neat and organized work area
  • Suggest and help write procedures related to areas of responsibility
  • Provide management with suggestions to improve customer service and department operation
  • Assign and un-assign conveyor system slots to employees, including computer system updates and physical labeling
  • Ensure full compliance with departmental internal controls, policies, procedures, and regulations
  • Perform other duties as assigned
