Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior customer service experience is a plus but not required
- must be able to stand and walk for extended periods
- able to communicate effectively in English
- up-to-date COVID-19 vaccination
- annual influenza vaccination
- TB test
- drug screen
- background check
- availability for 1-2 shifts per week with at least one weekend shift
- willingness to commit to year-round employment

Job Duties
- Serve all meals in a professional, courteous, and prompt manner
- explain daily menus including key ingredients and allergen information
- learn resident names and table assignments
- set and clear dining room tables according to department standards
- maintain dining room and kitchen cleanliness as assigned
- complete assigned duties accurately and timely
- adhere to food safety, sanitation, and workplace policies
- comply with uniform guidelines
- efficiently enter orders into dining services computer system
