Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Minimum 1 year customer service experience in a hospitality environment preferred
- Food Handlers Card (FH) - VA State ANSI-approved certificate required within 30 days
- Allergen Awareness Certification - VA State ANSI-approved certificate required within 180 days
- Ability to professionally handle meal service requests and concerns
- Must be punctual and ready to work in facility approved uniform
- Ability to follow sanitation and food safety protocols strictly
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Customer service experience in hospitality preferred
- Knowledge of food service software
- Understanding of dietary restrictions and allergen awareness
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Job Duties
- Follow standard service protocols ensuring timely greeting and seating of residents and guests
- Understand and accommodate the needs and preferences of seniors and their guests
- Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure accurate and timely meal orders
- Complete opening and closing side work including restocking supplies and food prep
- Assemble resident trays following menu and dietary restrictions
- Use Food Service software and hardware for order management
- Adhere to quality controls and safe food handling procedures including glove use and temperature monitoring
- Perform table setup and breakdown while maintaining sanitation standards
- Assist in maintaining residents' dignity and safety
- Manage time effectively to complete all assigned duties
- Be punctual and wear facility approved uniform for all shifts
