Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a food-service role preferred
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Patient and compassionate attitude
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends
  • Reliability and punctuality
  • Ability to maintain a respectful and calm demeanor
  • Familiarity with food safety standards is a plus

Job Duties

  • Patiently and cheerfully taking resident meal orders
  • Checking station tables for settings and cleanliness
  • Reading the menu before service to assist residents with their selections
  • Assisting in plating and proper portion controls of appetizers, salads, soups, beverages, and desserts
  • Bussing tables at the end of the meal
  • Maintaining a clean and organized dining environment
  • Providing excellent customer service to enhance resident dining experience
