Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a food-service role preferred
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Patient and compassionate attitude
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends
- Reliability and punctuality
- Ability to maintain a respectful and calm demeanor
- Familiarity with food safety standards is a plus
Job Qualifications
- Experience as a waiter or waitress in a restaurant or food-service-related industry
- Ability to function in a fast-paced environment
- Strong multitasking skills
- Good communication, customer service, and people skills
- Professional, patient, and able to satisfy a demanding customer base
- Experience working with senior populations preferred
- Team player willing to assist where needed
- Familiarity with food safety, food preparation, and health guidelines is a plus

- Respectful and calm when working with elderly residents
Job Duties
- Patiently and cheerfully taking resident meal orders
- Checking station tables for settings and cleanliness
- Reading the menu before service to assist residents with their selections
- Assisting in plating and proper portion controls of appetizers, salads, soups, beverages, and desserts
- Bussing tables at the end of the meal
- Maintaining a clean and organized dining environment
- Providing excellent customer service to enhance resident dining experience
