Job Requirements
- Physically able to twist, stoop, bend, kneel, squat, climb stairs
- able to lift and carry supplies weighing up to 30 pounds
- possess physical stamina to complete job tasks
- compliance with OSHA guidelines
- willing to work weekends or every other weekend
- ability to work flexible part-time hours
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year serving experience
- ability to work a flexible schedule
- dependable with a warm and caring attitude towards older adults
- cooperative team player
- basic problem-solving skills
- accepts direction and utilizes supervision effectively
- strong interpersonal skills to relate well with older adults
Job Duties
- Serve meals in a friendly and professional manner
- follow procedures to maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dining room and service stations
- participate in daily pre-meal meetings to understand menu offerings
- effectively communicate meal information to residents and guests
- ensure the safety of diners by minimizing fire and accident risks
- provide high-quality service with compassion recognizing individual needs and rights
- assist within a team to uphold service standards
