Job Requirements

Job Qualifications
- Previous banquet, catering, restaurant, hospitality, or event service experience preferred

Job Duties
- Set up banquet rooms, meeting spaces, buffets, bars, and service stations according to event specifications
- Greet guests professionally and provide courteous, attentive service throughout events
- Serve plated meals, buffet items, beverages, and hors d'oeuvres in accordance with event timelines
- Clear tables, refresh beverages, and maintain clean guest areas during events
- Assist with event room resets and breakdown following event completion
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, banquet captains, kitchen staff, bartenders, and event coordinators
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations
- Maintain a professional appearance and uphold the convention center's service standards
- Respond promptly to guest requests and resolve service issues professionally
- Assist with inventory, stocking, and organization of service areas as needed
- Support multiple events and functions simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
