This part-time Waitstaff position at Weatherly Inn plays a vital role in ensuring a positive dining experience for all residents. The waitstaff member is responsible for providing attentive service, maintaining clean and organized dining areas, and supporting the overall food service operations. The position requires availability during closing hours from 3:45 pm to closing primarily on Saturdays and Sundays, with the flexibility to work various other days as needed. The role reports directly to the Dining Services Manager, Food Services Director, and Administrator, reflecting its integral place within the food service department at Weatherly Inn.

The waitstaff will engage directly with residents in their assigned dining areas, ensuring that their dining needs and preferences are met with care and professionalism. This includes cleaning and setting tables, vacuuming or mopping dining areas, and maintaining the appearance of the dining environment. In addition, the waitstaff member is expected to learn the special needs of residents, including recognizing changes in behavior and reporting these promptly to nursing staff to support overall resident well-being.
