Job Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- Knowledge of and ability to learn food serving, cleanliness and sanitation requirements
- Food Handler's Certification or ability to obtain once hired
- Ability to use up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently and/or 20 pounds continuously to move food service and preparation equipment and other objects
- Ability to walk and stand for prolonged periods
- Ability to turn, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, push, pull, stand and walk over 75 percent of shift
Job Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Knowledge of food serving, cleanliness and sanitation requirements
- Food Handler's Certification or ability to obtain once hired
- Ability to multi-task and work well with others
- Strong guest relation and communication skills
Job Duties
- Be upbeat, courteous, and positive
- Possess great guest relation and communications skills
- Deliver hospitality, enhance every guest experience
- Navigate through the menu, describe featured menu items, demonstrate extensive menu knowledge
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, send orders to kitchen accurately through the point of sales system, partner with all associates to serve food and beverages in a timely manner
- Perform cash handling including counting and balancing cash register, ensure timely and accurate payment processing, maintain confidentiality of guest information
- Multi-task and work well with others
- Adhere to Buckner Service Standards
- Perform all side-work duties and maintain cleanliness and sanitation in all dining and some kitchen areas
- Work as part of a team and maintain strong working relationships with co-workers
