Job Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- a high school diploma or equivalent
- pass a pre-employment drug test and background check
- possess or obtain a Food Handler's Card within 30 days from hire
- ability to lift, carry, and serve food trays
- follow safety and sanitation procedures
- strong communication skills
- ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- a high school diploma or equivalent is required
- must pass a pre-employment drug test and background check
- must possess a Food Handler's Card or obtain within 30 days from hire
- previous experience in waitstaff, food service, or hospitality is preferred
- a passion for working with seniors and providing excellent customer service
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety and sanitation procedures
- ability to lift, carry, and serve food trays as required
- a friendly, caring, and respectful attitude towards residents, employees and visitors
Job Duties
- Greet and assist residents in a courteous and professional manner during meal times
- serve meals to residents according to dietary guidelines and special requests
- set tables, clear dishes, and ensure the dining room is clean and organized
- assist in the preparation and delivery of meals to residents' rooms when needed
- communicate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate meal orders and requests are met
- ensure that dining areas are safe, clean, and well-maintained at all times
- respond to resident requests and special needs with a helpful and friendly attitude
- follow all food safety and sanitation standards to ensure safe meal service
- assist with other tasks as needed to support the dining services department
