Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or GED
  • minimum of one year experience preferred in fine dining hospitality and/or full-service senior living
  • maintain CPR and First Aid certification
  • maintain ServeSafe certification
  • maintain Local Health Department Food Handler Card
  • ability to comply with food safety and sanitation standards
  • ability to participate in required training
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • ability to communicate effectively
  • willingness to adhere to occupational health and safety policies
  • ability to perform physical tasks related to dining services
  • must pass drug test
  • must comply with health screening requirements
  • must have legal authorization to work

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or GED
  • minimum of one year experience preferred in fine dining hospitality and/or full-service senior living
  • maintain certifications including CPR, First Aid, ServeSafe, and Local Health Department Food Handler Card
  • effective written and verbal communication skills
  • competent organizational and time management skills
  • good judgment, problem solving, and decision-making skills

Job Duties

  • Cultivate a warm and hospitable environment by making personal connections with residents and guests and treating all with professionalism and respect
  • take and deliver food orders in a timely manner
  • bus and reset tables per company standards
  • clean and maintain the dining room and bistro to the highest standards per company guidelines
  • complete required side work as assigned
  • attend pre-meal meeting to gain knowledge of the meal
  • maintain knowledge of menu items and provide general descriptions
  • assist residents with menu selections and respond professionally to questions about menu items
  • use Sunrise systems per guidelines for order taking and meal delivery to ensure accuracy
  • practice safe food handling procedures at all times in accordance with laws and regulations
  • comply with occupational health and safety regulations and practice safety procedures including use of PPE
  • perform other dining services duties as assigned such as washing and sanitizing dishes, sweeping, food preparation assistance
  • participate actively as a member of a team and commit to working toward team goals
  • demonstrate Team Member Credo in daily interactions
  • attend regular meetings
  • maintain compliance with training requirements
  • perform other duties as assigned
