Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a food service or senior living environment preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively with seniors and team members
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to follow safety and hygiene protocols
  • Flexibility to work full-time or part-time shifts as required

Job Duties

  • Take meal and drink orders and serve meals in a friendly and timely manner
  • Assure residents and guests are satisfied with their meals
  • Maintain knowledge of all specials and general description of all food items
  • Maintain all side stations and dining areas
  • Follow daily and weekly cleaning schedules
  • Practice all safety and loss prevention procedures
  • Set-up and clean the dining room while maintaining or exceeding hospitality and service standards
