Job Description

Harrah's Resort Southern California, the fourth largest resort property in San Diego County, is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join their team. Job Requirements

Must have one-year previous food and beverage service experience including large tray service required
Hotel restaurant experience is preferred
Extensive knowledge of beers, wines, liquors, and their recipes required
Must be able to initiate and engage in conversation in a professional and friendly manner
Must present a professional and pleasant appearance
Must possess excellent customer service and communication skills
Must be 18 years of age
Must be able to work any day of the week and any shift
Must get along with co-workers and work as a team
Must be able to lift heavy trays with food above shoulder level
Must be able to write customer orders legibly
Must be able to tolerate hot temperatures in kitchen areas
Must be able to stoop, bend, reach, kneel, and lift items up to 50lbs during assigned shift
Must be able to listen and respond to visual and aural cues
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondhand smoke, high noise levels, bright lights, and dust
