Job Requirements
- Experience is preferred

- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- excellent communication skills
- ability to maintain high standards of customer service and cleanliness
- basic math skills for cash handling
- ability to follow established food safety guidelines
- capacity to work cooperatively with others
- must be able to perform physical tasks such as standing for extended periods
- must comply with any required background screening
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in a waiter/waitress role preferred
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to operate point of sale systems and handle cash transactions
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- flexibility to work evenings and weekends

Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- take food and beverage orders efficiently following established steps of service
- deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
- follow up periodically to assist guests with additional needs or requests
- demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients and advise guests on food and drink combinations
- accommodate reasonable requests and note guest preferences
- communicate with back-of-house staff to ensure order accuracy and special request accommodation
- exhibit exceptional communication skills and maintain patience and flexibility when interacting with guests and staff
- collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
- promote a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests
- maintain confidentiality regarding personal or medical information
- promptly address and relay guest complaints to supervisors
- ensure dining room is properly set up before and after service and kept clean during service
- operate equipment including fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea/soda machines, soup wells, and coffee machines
- collaborate with staff from other departments during special events and functions
- perform other duties as assigned
