Job Requirements

  • No prior experience required
  • ability to work the scheduled shifts from 3 PM to 7 PM, two days per week
  • ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • ability to communicate effectively with guests and staff
  • capacity to follow directions and training
  • willingness to maintain confidentiality

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • excellent communication and customer service skills
  • ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation principles preferred
  • willingness to learn and undergo training
  • ability to remain flexible and patient in a fast-paced environment
  • attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Job Duties

  • Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
  • take food and beverages orders efficiently following established steps of service
  • deliver food promptly and professionally maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
  • follow up with guests to assist with additional needs or requests
  • demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients and advise guests on appropriate combinations
  • accommodate reasonable requests and note preferences including specialized diets and allergens as needed
  • communicate with back-of-the-house staff to ensure correct order delivery and accommodation of special requests
  • exhibit exceptional communication skills and positive interpersonal relations
  • collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
  • promote a clean, safe, and neat dining environment
  • maintain confidentiality of personal or medical information shared
  • address complaints or issues promptly and relay information to supervisors
  • ensure proper dining room setup before and after service periods
  • operate dining equipment such as fire extinguishers, telephones, beverage machines, and coffee makers
  • collaborate with staff from other departments during special events and functions
  • perform other duties as assigned
