Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • able to perform essential job functions with or without accommodation
  • available to work scheduled shifts of 3 PM to 7 PM two days per week
  • no prior experience required as training is provided
  • ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • valid legal authorization to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation principles
  • customer service experience is a plus but not required
  • willingness to learn and undergo training
  • ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality
  • flexibility to work scheduled shifts
  • team-oriented mindset

Job Duties

  • Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
  • take food and beverage orders efficiently following established service steps
  • deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining food safety and sanitation
  • follow up periodically to address any additional guest needs
  • demonstrate thorough knowledge of menu items and ingredients and advise guests accordingly
  • communicate with kitchen staff to ensure order accuracy and accommodate special requests
  • exhibit excellent communication skills and maintain a courteous attitude with guests and team members
  • collect tickets and manage cash-handling procedures properly
  • promote a clean and safe dining environment
  • maintain confidentiality of personal or medical information shared by guests
  • address complaints promptly and escalate issues to supervisors as necessary
  • ensure dining room setup and cleanliness before and after service
  • operate various dining equipment such as iced tea machines and coffee makers
  • collaborate with staff from other departments during special events
  • perform other duties as assigned
