Job Requirements
- One or more years of professional server experience
- availability to work part-time primarily on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays evenings with some weekday mornings and evenings
- ability to perform essential job functions satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation
- knowledge of safe food handling practices
- effective communication skills
- ability to maintain confidentiality of guest information

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum one year of professional server experience
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- understanding of specialized diets and allergens preferred
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work in a team environment
- experience in assisted living or healthcare settings preferred
- basic cash handling and point of sale proficiency
Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- take food and beverage orders efficiently following established steps of service
- deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
- follow up periodically to assist with any additional guest needs or requests
- demonstrate complete understanding of menu items, ingredients, and specialized diets including allergens
- communicate directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure accurate order delivery and accommodate special requests
- exhibit exceptional communication skills and maintain flexibility and patience with guests and staff
- collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
- promote a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests
- maintain confidentiality regarding personal or medical information
- promptly address complaints or issues and relay information to supervisor
- ensure the dining room is properly set up before and after service periods and meets sanitation standards
- operate equipment such as fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea/soda machines, soup wells, and coffee machines
- collaborate with other departments during special events and functions
- perform other duties as assigned
