Job Requirements

  • Previous food service experience preferred
  • ability to work Friday through Sunday from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and customer service
  • capacity to handle cash transactions accurately
  • willingness to learn and adapt in a team environment
  • must be able to perform physical tasks related to the job such as standing for long periods
  • legal authorization to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous food service experience preferred
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • basic math skills for handling transactions
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends

Job Duties

  • Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
  • take food and beverage orders efficiently following established service steps
  • deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
  • demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients, advise guests on food and drink combinations, and accommodate special dietary requests
  • communicate with kitchen staff to ensure orders are accurate and special requests are met
  • collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
  • maintain cleanliness and safety of the dining area
  • promptly address guest complaints or issues and report them to supervisors
  • set up and clean the dining area before and after service
  • operate dining room equipment such as coffee machines and soda machines
  • collaborate with other departments during special events and functions
  • perform other duties as assigned
