Job Requirements
- Previous food service experience preferred
- ability to work Friday through Sunday from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm
- strong communication skills
- ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and customer service
- capacity to handle cash transactions accurately
- willingness to learn and adapt in a team environment
- must be able to perform physical tasks related to the job such as standing for long periods
- legal authorization to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous food service experience preferred
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- basic math skills for handling transactions
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends
Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- take food and beverage orders efficiently following established service steps
- deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
- demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients, advise guests on food and drink combinations, and accommodate special dietary requests
- communicate with kitchen staff to ensure orders are accurate and special requests are met
- collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
- maintain cleanliness and safety of the dining area
- promptly address guest complaints or issues and report them to supervisors
- set up and clean the dining area before and after service
- operate dining room equipment such as coffee machines and soda machines
- collaborate with other departments during special events and functions
- perform other duties as assigned
