Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
willingness to work part-time hours including weekends
capability to stand for extended periods
ability to follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
basic proficiency in handling food and beverage orders
openness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
previous server experience preferred but not required
strong interpersonal and communication skills
basic math skills for handling transactions
ability to understand and accommodate dietary restrictions and allergens
ability to work effectively in a team environment
flexibility to work various shifts including weekends
commitment to maintaining hygiene and sanitation standards
familiarity with cash handling procedures

Job Duties

Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
take food and beverage orders efficiently following established steps of service
deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
follow up periodically with guests to assist with additional needs or requests
demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of menu items and ingredients and advise guests on appropriate food and drink combinations
accommodate reasonable requests and note guest preferences including specialized diets and allergens
communicate directly with back-of-house staff to ensure correct order delivery and accommodation of special requests
exhibit exceptional communication skills and maintain a positive attitude with guests and staff
collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
promote a clean, safe and neat dining environment
maintain confidentiality of personal or medical information shared by guests
promptly address complaints or issues and relay information to supervisors
ensure dining room setup and cleanliness before and after service
operate various equipment such as fire extinguishers, telephones, beverage machines, and coffee machines
collaborate with other departments during special events and perform other assigned duties
