Job Requirements

  • ability to work part-time hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • knowledge of food and beverage service procedures beneficial but not required
  • ability to maintain cleanliness and safety standards
  • willingness to learn and adapt to changing work requirements
  • customer service experience is a plus

Job Duties

  • Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
  • take food and beverage orders efficiently following established steps of service
  • deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
  • follow up periodically to assist guests with additional needs or requests
  • demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients and advise guests on food and drink combinations
  • communicate directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure orders are delivered correctly and special requests accommodated
  • collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
