Job Requirements
- Previous food service experience preferred
- Ability to work Wednesdays and Thursdays from 5pm to 10:30pm
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Must adhere to food safety and sanitation standards
- Reliable and punctual
- Must be able to handle cash transactions responsibly
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in food service preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to work part-time evening shifts
- Customer-focused attitude and professionalism
- Willingness to learn and adapt to training
Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- Take food and beverages orders efficiently following established steps of service
- Deliver food promptly and professionally maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
- Follow up periodically to assist with any additional guest needs or requests
- Demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients and advise guests accordingly
- Communicate directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure order accuracy and accommodate special requests
- Operate dining equipment including fire extinguishers, iced tea machines, and coffee machines
- Collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
- Promote a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests
- Handle guest complaints promptly and relay information to supervisors
- Ensure proper dining room setup before and after service periods
- Work with staff of other departments during special events and functions
- Perform other duties as assigned
