Job Requirements
- Ability to perform essential job duties satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous serving experience is preferred but not required
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards is a plus
- ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- flexibility to work varying hours from Tuesday through Sunday
- positive attitude and team player mindset
Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- take food and beverage orders efficiently following established steps of service
- deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining food safety and sanitation standards
- follow up periodically to assist with additional guest needs or requests
- demonstrate understanding of menu items and ingredients and advise guests on food and drink combinations
- accommodate reasonable requests and note preferences including specialized diets and allergens
- communicate with kitchen staff to ensure order accuracy and special requests are met
- exhibit exceptional communication skills and maintain positive guest and staff relations
- collect tickets and follow proper cash handling procedures
- promote a clean, safe, and neat dining environment
- address guest complaints promptly and relay to supervisor
- set up and break down dining area maintaining sanitation standards
- operate equipment including fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea/soda machines, soup wells and coffee machines
- collaborate with other departments during special events
- perform other duties as assigned
