Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior hospitality or food service experience preferred
- ability to work part-time schedule including weekends and holidays
- strong communication skills
- ability to perform physical tasks related to the duties
- reliable transportation to the Kingsbridge location
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- must be able to comply with company policies including drug-free workplace requirements
Job Qualifications
- Prior hospitality experience preferred
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- ability to maintain professionalism and patience in high-pressure situations
- knowledge of menu items and ability to advise guests on food and drink selections
- basic cash handling skills
Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- take food and beverage orders efficiently following established steps of service
- deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
- follow up periodically to assist with any additional guest needs or requests
- demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of menu items and ingredients, advising guests and accommodating preferences and diets
- communicate directly with back-of-house staff to ensure accurate and timely order delivery
- collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
- promote and maintain a clean, safe, and neat dining environment
- address complaints or issues promptly and relay to supervisor as needed
- ensure the dining room is properly set up before and after service periods
- operate various dining service equipment including fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea/soda machines, soup wells, and coffee machines
- collaborate with staff from other departments during special events and functions
- perform other duties as assigned
