Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
prior hospitality or food service experience preferred
ability to work part-time schedule including weekends and holidays
strong communication skills
ability to perform physical tasks related to the duties
reliable transportation to the Kingsbridge location
ability to work in a fast-paced environment
must be able to comply with company policies including drug-free workplace requirements

Job Qualifications

Prior hospitality experience preferred
knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
strong communication and interpersonal skills
ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
ability to maintain professionalism and patience in high-pressure situations
knowledge of menu items and ability to advise guests on food and drink selections
basic cash handling skills

Job Duties

Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
take food and beverage orders efficiently following established steps of service
deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
follow up periodically to assist with any additional guest needs or requests
demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of menu items and ingredients, advising guests and accommodating preferences and diets
communicate directly with back-of-house staff to ensure accurate and timely order delivery
collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
promote and maintain a clean, safe, and neat dining environment
address complaints or issues promptly and relay to supervisor as needed
ensure the dining room is properly set up before and after service periods
operate various dining service equipment including fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea/soda machines, soup wells, and coffee machines
collaborate with staff from other departments during special events and functions
perform other duties as assigned
