Job Requirements
- Prior serving experience required
- part-time availability from 3:30 pm to 7:30 pm with varying days
- ability to perform essential job functions with or without accommodation
- commitment to maintaining a drug-free workplace
- must be able to attend to guest needs courteously and professionally
Job Qualifications
- Prior serving experience
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- ability to work in a team-oriented environment
- basic math skills for handling transactions
- knowledge of specialized diets and allergens preferred
- ability to remain flexible and patient under pressure
Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- take food and beverage orders efficiently following established service steps
- deliver food promptly and professionally
- maintain safe food handling and sanitation standards
- follow up periodically to assist with additional needs or requests
- advise guests on menu items, combinations, and accommodate dietary preferences
- communicate with kitchen staff to ensure order accuracy and accommodate special requests
- collect payment and follow proper cash-handling procedures
- set up and clean dining area before and after service
- operate dining equipment like beverage machines and coffee makers
- maintain a clean and safe dining environment
- address guest complaints and relay issues to supervisor
- collaborate with other departments during special events
- perform other related duties as assigned
