Job Requirements

  • Prior serving experience required
  • part-time availability from 3:30 pm to 7:30 pm with varying days
  • ability to perform essential job functions with or without accommodation
  • commitment to maintaining a drug-free workplace
  • must be able to attend to guest needs courteously and professionally

Job Qualifications

  • Prior serving experience
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • ability to work in a team-oriented environment
  • basic math skills for handling transactions
  • knowledge of specialized diets and allergens preferred
  • ability to remain flexible and patient under pressure

Job Duties

  • Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
  • take food and beverage orders efficiently following established service steps
  • deliver food promptly and professionally
  • maintain safe food handling and sanitation standards
  • follow up periodically to assist with additional needs or requests
  • advise guests on menu items, combinations, and accommodate dietary preferences
  • communicate with kitchen staff to ensure order accuracy and accommodate special requests
  • collect payment and follow proper cash-handling procedures
  • set up and clean dining area before and after service
  • operate dining equipment like beverage machines and coffee makers
  • maintain a clean and safe dining environment
  • address guest complaints and relay issues to supervisor
  • collaborate with other departments during special events
  • perform other related duties as assigned
