Job Requirements
- Prior food service experience preferred
- ability to work part-time hours including some weekends
- ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
- capability to maintain confidentiality of personal or medical information
- compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- ability to communicate effectively with guests and staff
- willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
- Prior food service experience preferred
- knowledge of menu items and ingredients
- ability to advise guests on food and drink combinations
- understanding of specialized diets and allergens
- exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to remain flexible and patient when working with guests and staff
- capability to operate dining room equipment
Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- take food and beverage orders efficiently, following established steps of service
- deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
- follow up periodically to assist with additional guest needs or requests
- communicate directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure accurate order delivery and accommodate special requests
- collect tickets and perform proper cash-handling procedures
- maintain clean, safe, and neat dining environment while meeting sanitation standards
