Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum two years of serving experience preferred
- ability to work flexible part-time schedule including Monday evenings and Tuesday mornings
- excellent communication skills
- knowledge of safe food handling and sanitation
- ability to work well in a team and independently
- ability to maintain confidentiality
- customer-oriented attitude
- physical ability to perform job duties
- willingness to adhere to company policies and procedures
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum of two years of previous serving experience preferred
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- ability to understand and communicate menu details and dietary restrictions
- strong customer service orientation
- ability to work flexible hours including evenings and mornings
- ability to operate food service equipment proficiently
- ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- take food and beverage orders efficiently, following established service steps
- deliver food promptly while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
- follow up with guests for additional needs or requests
- demonstrate understanding of menu items, ingredients, and specialized diets
- communicate directly with kitchen staff for order accuracy and accommodations
- exhibit exceptional communication skills and patience with guests and staff
- collect tickets and follow cash-handling procedures
- promote a clean, safe, and neat dining environment
- maintain sensitivity and confidentiality regarding personal or medical information
- promptly address complaints and relay to supervisor
- set up and clean dining room before and after service periods
- operate equipment such as fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea/soda machines, soup wells, and coffee machines
- assist in special events and support other departments as needed
- perform other duties as assigned
