The current opportunity is for a part-time Waiter/Waitress position located at the Emirates Lounge within Terminal E, 500 Terminal E, East Boston, MA 02128. This role offers an hourly wage between $20.00 and $24.00, with an immediate start and a schedule that primarily includes weekends (Saturday and Sunday), with more detailed hours discussed during the interview. As a Waiter/Waitress at the Emirates Lounge, you will be a pivotal part of creating a welcoming and upscale dining experience. Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- take food and beverages orders efficiently following established steps of service
- deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining food handling and sanitation standards
- follow up periodically to assist with additional guest needs or requests
- demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients and advise guests on food and beverage combinations
- accommodate reasonable requests and note guest preferences including specialized diets and allergens
- communicate directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure order accuracy and accommodate special requests
- exhibit exceptional communication skills and ability to work well with others
- collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
- promote a clean, safe, and neat dining environment
- maintain confidentiality regarding personal or medical guest information
- promptly address guest complaints or issues and relay to supervisor
