Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- takes food and beverage orders efficiently following established steps of service
- delivers food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
- follows up periodically to assist guests with additional needs or requests
- demonstrates complete understanding of menu items and ingredients and advises guests appropriately
- communicates directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure accurate order delivery
- collects tickets and follows proper cash-handling procedures
- promotes a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests
- addresses complaints promptly and escalates when necessary
- ensures dining room is properly set up and maintained before and after service periods
- operates various equipment such as fire extinguishers, telephones, and beverage machines
- works with other departments during special events
- performs other duties as assigned
