At Unidine, the focus is on creating memorable experiences that enhance lives and build meaningful connections between the culinary team, guests, and communities served. The company fosters a supportive and collaborative work environment where every team member is valued and empowered to make a positive difference.
We are currently hiring for a part-time Waiter/Waitress position at our Luther Ridge location in Middletown, Connecticut. This opportunity offers a flexible schedule with varying days and hours, including nights and weekends, to accommodate the needs of the business and our guests. The hourly compensation is set at $17.00, reflecting our commitment to fair pay for the valuable contributions of our team members. This role does not require prior experience, making it an excellent opportunity for those new to the hospitality industry or seeking a part-time position within a reputable organization.
As a Waiter or Waitress with Unidine, you will play a crucial role in ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our guests. The position involves taking food and beverage orders, delivering these promptly and professionally, and maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation. Our guests expect not only quality meals but also a welcoming atmosphere where they feel attended to and respected. Your ability to understand menu items, including special diets and allergens, and to offer thoughtful recommendations will be instrumental in achieving this.
The role demands strong communication skills, teamwork, and a positive attitude. You will work closely with both front-of-house guests and back-of-house staff to ensure orders are accurate and special requests are accommodated. Attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality concerning medical or personal information are critical. In addition, duties extend beyond serving food and beverages to include setting up and cleaning the dining area and operating various equipment related to food service.
Unidine values its team members and provides a comprehensive benefits package that extends beyond just employment. While the position is part-time, team members have access to perks such as a retirement plan, associate shopping program, health and wellness initiatives, discount marketplaces, identity theft protection, pet insurance, and various voluntary benefits including critical illness, accident, hospital indemnity insurance, legal services, and choice auto and home programs. These benefits contribute to a supportive work-life balance and underscore Unidine's dedication to employee well-being.
At Unidine, joining the culinary team means becoming part of a vibrant community where your efforts directly impact the quality of life of those we serve. If you take pride in delivering excellent customer service, enjoy working as part of a dynamic team, and are looking for a role with flexibility and meaningful purpose, this Waiter/Waitress position is an ideal fit. Apply today to embark on a fulfilling career path with Unidine at Luther Ridge, where you will be supported every step of the way to grow and thrive in the hospitality industry.
