Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- take food and beverage orders efficiently, following established steps of service
- deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
- demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients, advise guests on food and drink combinations, accommodate reasonable requests
- communicate directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure accurate order delivery
- exhibit exceptional communication skills and remain flexible and patient with guests and staff
- collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
- promote a clean, safe, and neat environment
- maintain sensitivity and confidentiality regarding personal or medical information
- promptly address complaints or issues and relay information to supervisor
- ensure dining room is properly set up before and after service, maintaining sanitation standards
- operate equipment including fire extinguishers, telephones, beverage machines
- collaborate with other departments during special events
- perform other assigned duties
