Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
  • take food and beverage orders efficiently, following established steps of service
  • deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
  • demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients, advise guests on food and drink combinations, accommodate reasonable requests
  • communicate directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure accurate order delivery
  • exhibit exceptional communication skills and remain flexible and patient with guests and staff
  • collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
  • promote a clean, safe, and neat environment
  • maintain sensitivity and confidentiality regarding personal or medical information
  • promptly address complaints or issues and relay information to supervisor
  • ensure dining room is properly set up before and after service, maintaining sanitation standards
  • operate equipment including fire extinguishers, telephones, beverage machines
  • collaborate with other departments during special events
  • perform other assigned duties
