Job Requirements

  • ability to use equipment such as coffee machines, soda machines, and fire extinguishers
  • legal eligibility to work in the United States

Job Duties

  • Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
  • takes food and beverages orders efficiently following established steps of service
  • deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
  • demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients and advise guests on food and drink combinations
  • communicate directly with kitchen staff to ensure orders are delivered correctly and special requests accommodated
  • collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
  • promote a clean, safe and neat environment for guests
  • promptly address complaints or issues and relay them to supervisor
  • ensure dining room is properly set up before and after service periods
  • operate a variety of equipment including fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea/soda machines, soup wells and coffee machines
  • collaborate with other departments during special events and functions
  • perform other duties as assigned
