Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous serving or bartending experience preferred
  • ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
  • capacity to stand and walk for extended periods
  • must be able to handle cash transactions accurately
  • availability to work full-time or part-time hours as scheduled

Job Qualifications

  • Previous serving experience preferred
  • previous bartending experience preferred
  • knowledge of food service safety and sanitation standards
  • exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to remain flexible and patient when dealing with guests
  • ability to operate common restaurant equipment

Job Duties

  • Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
  • take food and beverage orders efficiently following established steps of service
  • deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
  • follow up periodically to assist with any additional needs or requests
  • demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients and advise guests accordingly
  • communicate directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure order accuracy and accommodate special requests
  • collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
