Job Requirements
- No prior experience required
- willingness to train
- ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- reliable transportation to the Fuller Village location in Milton, MA
- legal authorization to work in the United States
- availability to work full-time or part-time schedules with varying hours
- strong commitment to customer service and teamwork
- ability to follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- good physical stamina and dexterity
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- good communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work in a team-oriented environment
- basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation preferred
- capacity to learn menu items and ingredients quickly
- customer service experience a plus but not required
- flexibility to work varying schedules including weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- take food and beverage orders efficiently following established service steps
- deliver food promptly and professionally maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
- follow up periodically to assist with additional guest needs or requests
- demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients, advising guests on food and drink combinations and accommodating preferences
- communicate directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure order accuracy and accommodate special requests
- collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
- promote a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests
- maintain sensitivity and confidentiality regarding personal or medical information
- promptly address complaints or issues and relay information to supervisor
- ensure dining room setup prior to and after service period, keeping area clean meeting sanitation standards
- operate equipment such as fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea/soda machines, soup wells and coffee machines
- work with staff of other departments during special events and functions
- perform other duties as assigned
