Job Requirements

No prior experience required
willingness to train
ability to stand and walk for extended periods
reliable transportation to the Fuller Village location in Milton, MA
legal authorization to work in the United States
availability to work full-time or part-time schedules with varying hours
strong commitment to customer service and teamwork
ability to follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
good physical stamina and dexterity

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
good communication and interpersonal skills
ability to work in a team-oriented environment
basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation preferred
capacity to learn menu items and ingredients quickly
customer service experience a plus but not required
flexibility to work varying schedules including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
take food and beverage orders efficiently following established service steps
deliver food promptly and professionally maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
follow up periodically to assist with additional guest needs or requests
demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients, advising guests on food and drink combinations and accommodating preferences
communicate directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure order accuracy and accommodate special requests
collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
promote a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests
maintain sensitivity and confidentiality regarding personal or medical information
promptly address complaints or issues and relay information to supervisor
ensure dining room setup prior to and after service period, keeping area clean meeting sanitation standards
operate equipment such as fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea/soda machines, soup wells and coffee machines
work with staff of other departments during special events and functions
perform other duties as assigned
