Job Requirements

  • Prior food service experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
  • takes food and beverage orders efficiently following established service steps
  • deliver food promptly and professionally maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
  • demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients advising guests on food and drink combinations
  • communicate with kitchen staff to ensure order accuracy and accommodate special requests
  • exhibit exceptional communication skills and maintain patience and flexibility with guests and team
  • collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
  • promote a clean safe and neat environment for guests
  • maintain confidentiality regarding personal or medical information
  • promptly address complaints and relay information to supervisors
  • ensure dining room setup before and after service maintaining sanitation standards
  • operate equipment including fire extinguishers telephones beverage machines
  • collaborate with other departments during special events
  • perform other duties as assigned
