Job Requirements

  • No previous experience required
  • availability for full-time or part-time schedules
  • ability to work varied days and hours
  • basic English proficiency
  • ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
  • capable of maintaining cleanliness and safety standards
  • able to communicate effectively with guests and staff
  • physical ability to stand and move throughout the shift

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work flexible hours including days and varied shifts
  • customer service orientation
  • ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • willingness to learn and accept training
  • basic math skills for cash handling
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation principles is a plus

Job Duties

  • Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
  • take food and beverage orders efficiently following established steps of service
  • deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
  • follow up periodically with guests to assist with additional needs or requests
  • demonstrate full understanding of menu items, ingredients, and accommodate dietary preferences
  • communicate orders and special requests clearly with kitchen staff
  • exhibit excellent communication skills and maintain a positive attitude with guests and staff
  • collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
  • promote a clean, safe, and neat dining environment
  • address complaints promptly and escalate to supervisor when necessary
  • prepare and maintain dining area set-up before and after service
  • operate dining-related equipment including fire extinguishers, telephones, and beverage machines
  • collaborate with other departments during special events
  • perform other duties as assigned
