Job Requirements

  • Must be available evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
  • take food and beverage orders efficiently following established steps of service
  • deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
  • follow up with guests to assist with additional needs or requests
  • demonstrate full understanding of menu items and ingredients, advise guests on food and drink combinations and accommodate reasonable requests
  • communicate directly with kitchen staff to ensure correct order delivery and accommodate special requests
  • exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills, maintaining flexibility and patience with guests and staff
  • collect tickets and follow proper cash handling procedures
  • promote a clean, safe, and neat environment
  • maintain confidentiality regarding personal or medical information
  • address complaints promptly and relay information to supervisors
  • ensure proper dining room setup before and after service periods
  • operate various equipment such as fire extinguishers, telephones, beverage machines, and coffee makers
  • collaborate with other departments during special events
  • perform other duties as assigned
