Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- take food and beverage orders efficiently following established steps of service
- deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
- follow up with guests to assist with additional needs or requests
- demonstrate full understanding of menu items and ingredients, advise guests on food and drink combinations and accommodate reasonable requests
- communicate directly with kitchen staff to ensure correct order delivery and accommodate special requests
- exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills, maintaining flexibility and patience with guests and staff
- collect tickets and follow proper cash handling procedures
- promote a clean, safe, and neat environment
- maintain confidentiality regarding personal or medical information
- address complaints promptly and relay information to supervisors
- ensure proper dining room setup before and after service periods
- operate various equipment such as fire extinguishers, telephones, beverage machines, and coffee makers
- collaborate with other departments during special events
- perform other duties as assigned
