Job Requirements
- Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous serving experience is an asset but not required
- Demonstrated excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to learn and apply food safety and sanitation standards
- Knowledge of menu items and ability to assist guests with dietary needs
- Ability to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- Take food and beverage orders efficiently following established steps of service
- Deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining safety and sanitation standards
- Follow up periodically to assist guests with additional needs or requests
- Demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients, advising guests and accommodating dietary preferences
- Communicate with back-of-the-house staff to ensure correct order delivery and special requests
- Collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
- Maintain a clean, safe, and neat environment in the dining area
- Address complaints or issues promptly and relay relevant information to supervisors
- Ensure proper setup and cleanup of the dining room before and after service
- Operate various equipment including fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea/soda machines, soup wells, and coffee machines
- Collaborate with staff from other departments during special events and functions
- Perform other duties as assigned
