Job Requirements

  • Previous serving experience preferred but not required
  • ability to work full time or part time schedules including mornings, evenings, and weekends
  • willingness to undergo training
  • ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
  • basic math skills for cash handling
  • physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • commitment to maintaining cleanliness and safety standards
  • sensitivity to confidential information
  • eligibility to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous serving or hospitality experience preferred but not required
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • ability to handle cash transactions accurately
  • customer service orientation
  • ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Job Duties

  • Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
  • take food and beverage orders efficiently, following established steps of service
  • deliver food promptly and professionally
  • maintain safe food handling and sanitation standards
  • follow up periodically to assist with guest needs or requests
  • demonstrate thorough understanding of menu items and ingredients
  • advise guests on food and drink combinations
  • accommodate reasonable guest requests and preferences
  • communicate effectively with back-of-the-house staff to ensure order accuracy
  • exhibit exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • remain flexible and patient when interacting with guests and staff
  • collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
  • promote a clean, safe, and neat dining environment
  • maintain sensitivity and confidentiality regarding personal or medical information
  • promptly address guest complaints or issues and report to supervisor
  • ensure dining room is properly set up before and after service
  • operate various equipment including fire extinguishers and beverage machines
  • collaborate with staff across departments during special events
  • perform other duties as assigned
