Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience as a VIP cocktail and food server
  • Ability to work nights and weekends including event-driven schedules
  • Must have effective communication skills
  • Ability to maintain food safety and sanitation
  • Able to lift and carry moderate weights
  • Must be able to work collaboratively with a team
  • Commitment to providing exceptional guest service

Job Qualifications

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain professional and courteous demeanor
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including nights and weekends
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic math skills for handling cash and processing transactions

Job Duties

  • Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
  • Take food and beverage orders efficiently following established steps of service
  • Deliver food promptly and professionally maintaining safe food handling standards
  • Follow up with guests to assist with additional needs or requests
  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of menu items and ingredients including specialty diets
  • Communicate effectively with back-of-the-house staff to ensure order accuracy
  • Collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
  • Promote a clean, safe, and neat environment
  • Address complaints promptly and relay information to supervisors
  • Ensure dining room is properly set up before and after service
  • Operate kitchen and dining equipment as needed
  • Collaborate with staff across departments during special events
  • Perform other duties as assigned
