Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous server experience at a fine dining or high-end restaurant
- ability to work full-time or part-time schedules including evenings and weekends
- excellent communication skills
- capacity to follow sanitation and safety procedures
- ability to handle cash and operate related equipment
- willingness to learn and adapt to various service situations
- adherence to company policies including safety protocols relevant to the job

Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- take food and beverage orders efficiently following established steps of service
- deliver food promptly and professionally maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
- follow up periodically to assist with guests' additional needs or requests
- demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients
- advise guests on appropriate food and drink combinations and accommodate reasonable requests
- communicate directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure correct orders and special requests
- exhibit exceptional communication skills and maintain a positive relationship with guests and staff
- collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
- promote a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests
- maintain sensitivity and confidentiality regarding personal or medical information
- promptly address complaints or issues and relay to supervisor
- ensure dining room setup and cleanliness before and after service
- operate equipment including fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea/soda machines, soup wells, and coffee machines
- collaborate with staff from other departments during special events
- perform other duties as assigned
