Currently, Morrison Living is hiring full-time and part-time waiters and waitresses for the Water's Edge of Lake Wales location. This role offers an hourly pay range of $15.50 to $17.50 and is available for immediate hire. Both full-time and part-time schedules are flexible, with days and hours varying and more details provided during interview sessions. Previous serving experience is preferred, but Morrison Living also offers training to help new employees gain the skills needed to succeed. Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- takes food and beverages in an efficient manner following established steps of service
- delivers food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
- follows up periodically to assist with additional needs or requests
- demonstrates complete understanding of menu items and ingredients, advises guests on appropriate food and drink combinations, and accommodates preferences including specialized diets and allergens
- communicates with back-of-the-house staff to ensure order accuracy and accommodate special requests
- exemplifies exceptional communication skills and maintains positive interactions with guests and staff
- collects tickets and follows proper cash-handling procedures
- promotes a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests
- maintains confidentiality regarding personal or medical information
- promptly addresses complaints or issues and relays information to supervisors
- ensures proper dining room setup and cleanliness before and after service
- operates various equipment such as fire extinguishers, telephones, beverage machines, and coffee machines
- collaborates with staff from other departments during special events
- performs other duties as assigned
