Currently, Morrison Living is hiring for full-time and part-time waiter/waitress positions at the Texas Masonic Retirement Community located at 1501 West Division Street, Arlington, TX. This role is pivotal in ensuring residents and guests enjoy impeccable dining experiences by delivering superior food and beverage service in a timely and professional manner. Both full-time and part-time schedules are available including working hours that may vary, encompassing weekends and holidays.
The waiter/waitress position offers a pay range from $13.00 to $15.50 per hour, depending on experience. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred
- ability to communicate effectively in English
- must be at least 18 years old
- availability to work full-time or part-time including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- capable of standing, walking, and carrying trays for long periods
- reliable and punctual
- pass background check if required
- comply with company drug-free workplace policy

Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- takes food and beverages orders efficiently following established steps of service
- delivers food promptly and professionally maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
- follows up periodically to assist with additional guest needs
- demonstrates knowledge of menu items, ingredients, specialized diets, and allergens
- communicates with back-of-the-house staff to ensure order accuracy and accommodate special requests
- collects tickets and follows proper cash-handling procedures
- promotes a clean, safe, and neat environment
- addresses guest complaints promptly and relays to supervisor
- sets up and cleans the dining room before and after service
- operates equipment including fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea/soda machines, soup wells, and coffee machines
- collaborates with other departments during special events
- performs other duties as assigned
