Job Requirements
- Food service experience required
- ability to perform essential duties of the position
- availability to work Monday through Friday between 6:00 am and 10:00 pm as scheduled
- ability to maintain confidentiality of guest information
- capacity to work in a fast-paced environment
- willingness to collaborate with team members
- adherence to company policies and safety standards
Job Qualifications
- Food service experience required
- ability to communicate effectively with guests and staff
- knowledge of safe food handling and sanitation standards
- ability to work flexible hours within scheduled shifts
- ability to handle cash and operate related equipment
- strong interpersonal skills with patience and professionalism
- basic knowledge of menu items and dietary accommodations
Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- takes food and beverages orders efficiently following established steps of service
- delivers food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
- follows up periodically to assist with additional guest needs or requests
- demonstrates complete understanding of menu items and ingredients and advises guests on appropriate combinations
- communicates directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure order accuracy
- collects tickets and follows proper cash-handling procedures
- promotes a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests
- promptly addresses guest complaints or issues and relays information to supervisor
- ensures dining room setup and cleanliness before and after service
- operates various equipment such as fire extinguishers, telephones, and beverage machines
- collaborates with staff during special events
- performs other duties as assigned
