This full-time waiter/waitress position is based at the Solheim Senior Community located at 2236 Merton Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90041. Morrison Living is currently hiring for this role with an hourly pay range between $18.00 and $19.00. The schedule is full-time, typically from Friday through Tuesday, with working hours that may vary; specific details will be discussed during the interview process. Job Duties

  • Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
  • Take food and beverage orders efficiently, following established service steps
  • Deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
  • Demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients, advise guests on food and drink combinations and accommodate reasonable requests
  • Communicate with kitchen staff to ensure order accuracy and accommodate special requests
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills and the ability to work cooperatively with others
  • Collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
  • Promote and maintain a clean, safe, and neat dining environment
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding guest personal or medical information
  • Address and resolve guest complaints or issues promptly, escalating to supervisors if necessary
  • Ensure proper dining room setup before and after service
  • Operate dining room equipment including coffee machines, soda dispensers, and fire extinguishers
  • Collaborate with other departments during special events and functions
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
