Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
prior experience in fine dining preferred
ability to work Monday through Friday from 10:00 am to 6:30 pm with flexibility based on business needs
must be able to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation
willingness to undergo training
ability to follow safety protocols including use of protective gloves and slip-resistant shoes
ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
adherence to company policies and procedures

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
prior fine dining experience preferred
strong communication and interpersonal skills
knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
ability to work in a fast-paced environment
flexibility to work Monday through Friday with potential overtime
ability to operate dining room equipment
basic math skills for cash handling
ability to maintain professionalism and discretion
willingness to learn and adapt

Job Duties

Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
take food and beverage orders efficiently following established steps of service
deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients, advise guests on appropriate food and drink combinations, accommodate reasonable requests and note preferences
communicate directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure orders are delivered correctly and special requests are accommodated
exhibit exceptional communication skills, remain flexible and patient when interacting with guests and staff
collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
promote a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests
maintain confidentiality regarding personal or medical information
promptly address complaints or issues and relay relevant information to supervisor
ensure the dining room is properly set up before and after service, maintaining sanitation standards
operate equipment including fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea/soda machines, soup wells, and coffee machines
collaborate with other departments during special events and functions
perform other duties as assigned
