Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in fine dining preferred
  • ability to work Monday through Friday from 10:00 am to 6:30 pm with flexibility based on business needs
  • must be able to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation
  • willingness to undergo training
  • ability to follow safety protocols including use of protective gloves and slip-resistant shoes
  • ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
  • adherence to company policies and procedures

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior fine dining experience preferred
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • flexibility to work Monday through Friday with potential overtime
  • ability to operate dining room equipment
  • basic math skills for cash handling
  • ability to maintain professionalism and discretion
  • willingness to learn and adapt

Job Duties

  • Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
  • take food and beverage orders efficiently following established steps of service
  • deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
  • demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients, advise guests on appropriate food and drink combinations, accommodate reasonable requests and note preferences
  • communicate directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure orders are delivered correctly and special requests are accommodated
  • exhibit exceptional communication skills, remain flexible and patient when interacting with guests and staff
  • collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
  • promote a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests
  • maintain confidentiality regarding personal or medical information
  • promptly address complaints or issues and relay relevant information to supervisor
  • ensure the dining room is properly set up before and after service, maintaining sanitation standards
  • operate equipment including fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea/soda machines, soup wells, and coffee machines
  • collaborate with other departments during special events and functions
  • perform other duties as assigned
