Job Requirements

  • Valid DOH certification
  • fine dining experience required
  • ability to work Monday through Friday
  • no nights or weekends
  • must be able to handle cash transactions
  • ability to stand for long periods
  • must follow company safety policies
  • wear uniform and maintain proper grooming standards
  • legal authorization to work in the United States

Job Duties

  • Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
  • take food and beverage orders efficiently following established steps of service
  • deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
  • demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients
  • advise guests on appropriate food and drink combinations
  • communicate directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure accurate orders
  • exhibit exceptional communication skills and maintain patience with guests and staff
  • collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
  • promote a clean, safe, and neat environment
  • maintain confidentiality of personal or medical information
  • promptly address complaints or issues and report to supervisor
  • ensure dining room is properly set up before and after service
  • operate various equipment including fire extinguishers and beverage machines
  • work with staff from other departments during special events
  • perform other assigned duties
