Job Requirements
- 2-4 years of waiter/waitress experience preferred
- ability to operate relevant equipment safely
- ability to follow cash-handling procedures
- availability to work full-time with variable hours and days
- ability to maintain confidentiality regarding personal or medical information
- ability to handle guest complaints professionally
- basic food safety knowledge
- ability to perform physical tasks related to the job

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 2-4 years of waiter/waitress experience preferred

- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- ability to understand and explain menu items and dietary requirements

- ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- take food and beverage orders efficiently following established steps of service
- deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
- follow up periodically to assist with additional guest needs or requests
- demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients and advise guests on appropriate combinations
- communicate directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure orders are accurate and special requests accommodated
- collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
- promote a clean, safe and neat environment for guests
- promptly address complaints or issues and relay relevant information to the supervisor
- ensure that the dining room is properly set up prior to and after the service period and maintain cleanliness
- operate various equipment including fire extinguishers, telephones, beverage machines, and coffee machines
- work collaboratively with other departments during special events and functions
- perform other duties as assigned
